Amelia Earhart Park

AmerTec Building

Hialeah Park

When it was opened in the 1920s, the Hialeah Park Racetrack was one of the most recognizable parts of this city, and it was here that many of the most famous jockeys in the United States established their careers. Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby were among the celebrities who visited this park, but tragically, the park suffered from neglect over the years and was forced to close.

Thanks to a restoration project completed in 2013, the track was restored and is once again hosting horse racing events, much like it did in the past. There is also a casino on the premises if you want to try your luck at tempting Lady Luck, and live music events are frequently performed here as well. No matter how much you dislike gambling, this is one historical gem in Hialeah that you shouldn’t miss out on visiting.
